How to Try for Tickets to 'American Idol' Semi-Final Tapings in Detroit

An "American Idol" road trip includes Detroit, says the local Fox affiliate airing the 14-season singing competition.

Semi-final rounds will be taped at The Fillmore on Woodward downtown Feb. 19, March 4 and March 5 at 2:30 p.m. each day, WJBK says Thursday afternoon.

Of course, host Ryan Seacrest and judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr. will be in town for the tapings.
