A former security guard, who had long been a suspect was charged Monday with murder in the 2016 disappearance of Danielle Stislicki of Farmington Hills

Floyd Russell Galloway Jr.,  32,  of Berkley, a former security guard, faces a charge of  of premeditated first-degree murder, Beth LeBlanc of The Detroit News reports. He pleaded guilty in November 2017 to attacking a female jogger on the Hines Park in Livonia and is serving a 16-35 year term.

Stislicki, 28, disappeared Dec. 2, 2016. She was last seen leaving her office at MetLife in Southfield and her vehicle was found parked outside her Farmington Hills home with her purse still inside.

Galloway’s house was searched a couple of weeks after Stislicki disappeared, WWJ reports. Police didn't say much about the search then, but neighbors say they saw officers taking a mattress and other items.
