So you're fond of those cool Winter Classic and Winter Festival banners adorning Woodward Avenue, and think it would be nice to own one.
Well, you're in luck.
The Detroit Sports Commission, a non-profit which is part of the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau, is selling the actual banners hanging on the light polls on Woodward Avenue for $150 each.
Marty Dobek, a spokesman for the commission, said people can order them now and pick them up after Jan. 1 or have the commission mail them. In all, he said, there are about 200 banners.
