
CBS Detroit web producer George Fox acknowledges in a blog post for the station that he has "a weird sense of humor" -- his explanation for being transfixed by an online gallery of vehicle buyers posted by a Lansing-area dealer.
The Brighton resident apparently works with like-minded colleagues. or maybe just a diversion-eager crew. "The beautiful cornucopia of American style, culture and attitude that unfolded had me and my co-workers glued to the monitor" after he spotted the site during a fact search. (Hey, who hasn't tumbled down that time warp?)
Fox found Sundance Chevrolet's dozens of vehicle-delivery snapshots "a raw spectacle of American life." Taken in all seasons, including while snowing and raining, they show awkwardly or amusingly posed couples, seniors, families and showoffs. Clothes vary from tank tops to party outfits to overalls.
