Could Dan Gilbert envision a car museum in the heart of downtown Detroit?

Possibly, Kirk Pinho of Crain's Detroit Business suggests.

Gilbert's Bedrock Real Estate Services LLC purchased the 114-year-old State Savings Bank building at 151 W. Fort St. at Shelby Street for an undisclosed price, Crain's reports. Gilbert hasn't determined what he'll do with the building., says Robin Schwartz, public relations director for Bedrock

But Crain's reports that Stan Finsilver, executive vice president of Farmington Hills-based Friedman Integrated Real Estate Solutions LLC, said Bedrock plans a Detroit Car Museum.
