It's a Zoo in There: Zoo Officials Beef Up Security After Thefts

And you thought you had to worry about the lions, tigers and rhinos.

Detroit Zoo officials are worried about the people.

Zoo officials said they will beef up security, including adding surveillance cameras, in response to a rash of car break-ins on June 1, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Six vehicles were broken into. Thieves stole stereos, DVDs, GPS systems and laptops. All were parked in the zoo parking structure outside the main gate.
