We constantly hear about new restaurants opening in downtown and Midtown these days.
Unfortunately, it's a tough business and not each one makes it.
Dustin Walsh of Crain's Detroit Business reports that Olga’s Kitchen Inc. on Friday announced the closing of its downtown Detroit location at the One Campus Martius building on Woodward Avenue.
The announcement comes months after the company had entered into Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
Crain's reports:
“Closing the One Campus Martius location is a necessary next step for our company and the continued health of all of our operations as we look toward the future,” Michael Kosloski, Olga’s senior vice president and COO, said in a statement, according to Crain's.
The restaurant opened in April 2012.
