It's "Adios Detroit" for Ryan Field, who has been a studio host and sideline reporter for Fox Sports Detroit, the Detroit Free Press reports.

The paper reports that Field, 35,  is headed to Los Angeles to work for  FS1, a new Fox venture designed to compete with ESPN.

“It's an exciting opportunity to be a part of the sports scene at a national level, and I look forward to doing my best to represent Detroit,” Field tweeted Wednesday. “I want to thank everyone in Detroit for the last 13 years. My last day at FSD will be June 14th. FoxSports1 will launch Aug 17th. Yessirrrr.”

The paper reports that Field has worked on FSD’s “Tigers Live,” “Red Wings Live” and “Pistons Live” studio shows and was the main sideline reporter for Pistons games.
