"I did nothing wrong," Judge Richard Caretti of Macomb Circuit Court tells Fox 2 News in a follow-up report on the drunk-driving arrest of his girlfriend last weekend.

She was taken into custody in Franklin as the couple were dropping off Caretti's daughters, 12 and 15, at his ex-wife's home after a wedding reception. Police say Branda Conway, who was driving her vehicle, had a preliminary breath test result of .18 percent alcohol, more than twice the legal limit.

Her blood alcohol level later was measured at 16 percent and .15 percent in two Breathalyzer tests at a police station,  Franklin Detective Lt. William Castro, tells Jameson Cook of The Oakland Press.

Caretti read a statement on camera Wednesday to Fox 2's Amy Lange at his Mount Clemens courthouse.

This Saturday Night Drive Is One Macomb Judge Richard Caretti Must Regret, Jan. 16.
