Ace Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander offered up his thoughts on Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, who went on a rant on TV after knocking down a pass in the final seconds of the Seattle-San Francisco playoff game Sunday.
Sherman not only went on a rant on TV after the game about how great he was. He also gave Michael Crabtree, the intended San Francisco receiver, the choke sign after the game and talked trash.
Verlander offered his opinion on Twitter, saying:
"Sherman on the other hand.... If he played baseball would get a high and tight fastball."
In an unrelated matter, Verlander commented on the expanded use of the replay in the coming season.
I'm intrigued to see how the expanded replay goes this year. Can't say yet if I'm for or against. I like the replays on big screen tho."
