Key cast and crew members will attend the screening of "Detroit" at the 5,000-plus-capacity Fox Theatre on July 25, reports the Detroit Free Press.

Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow’s film about the 1967 Detroit riot will open nationwide at theaters on Aug. 4.

The premiere is likely to draw national and international media coverage, reports Julie Hinds of the Detroit Free Press. Details of who can attend are not yet available.  

The stars of “Detroit" include John Boyega (“Star Wars: The Force Awakens”), Anthony Mackie (“Captain America: Civil War”), Jason Mitchell (“Straight Outta Compton”), Samira Wiley (Netflix’s “Orange Is The New Black”), John Krasinski (best known for NBC’s “The Office”), Jacob Latimore (“The Maze Runner”), Will Poulter (“We’re the Millers”) and Laz Alonso (who plays a young John Conyers) and many others.
