Kid Rock showed up to the Oakland County Circuit Courthouse on Thursday.
The Kid was doing his civic duty like everyone else.
L.L. Brasier of the Detroit Free Press writes that Kid Rock, aka Robert James Ritchie, was one of 160 potential jurors who showed up Thursday morning at the courthouse for jury duty for a murder trial. There are three defendants, and each will get a separate trial.
The Freep reports that Ritchie, 44, of the Clarkston area, showed up with paperback book to help pass the time. He was escorted to the jury room by Oakland County Sheriff's deputies.
