Kmart, which was once an incredibly popular chain, has seen better days.
The giant retailer, owned by Sears Holdings, plans to close 64 stores across the U.S., with seven of those in Michigan, reports Charisse Jones of USA TODAY.
Business Insider reports that the Michigan closings include stores in Jackson, Fenton, Manistee, Byron Center, Grand Rapids, Alpena and Sault Ste. Marie.
Liquidation sales will begin on Sept. 22, and the stores will close their doors in mid-December, USA Today reports.
