Lafayette Coney Island Ranked #11 in America: Sorry American Coney

Lafayette Coney Island, the iconic hot dog joint downtown, has gotten its share of shout outs over the years.

Here's the latest.

The Daily Meal website listed America's top 35 hot dogs and Lafayette was number 11.

Sadly, there were some popular favorites that didn’t make the cut. While Lafayette Coney Island in Detroit ranks high, its modernized neighbor, American Coney Island, didn’t, because it lost much of its charm in the renovation.
