Latest Mayoral Poll Shows Benny Napoleon Slightly Ahead

With the Aug. 2 primary approaching, Wayne County Sheriff Benny Napoleon leads the pack in the race for Detroit mayor.

The latest poll conducted by WXYZ and the Detroit Free Press shows that Napoleon leads contender Miike Duggan by 27 percent to 23 percent, according to the Detroit Free Press.

The poll showed former  Detroit Corporation Counsel Krystal Crittendon and certified public accountant Tom Barrow would come in a distant third with only 3 percent each.
