
Tuesday, Detroit News: MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” program will broadcast Thursday from Ford Motor Co.’s Flat Rock Assembly Plant and explore Detroit’s recent record-setting bankruptcy filing and other issues, the automaker said Monday.

Monday: Joe Scarborough, host of "Morning Joe," tells viewers the show will air live Thursday "from the floor of a Ford plant" -- presumably the Rouge complex in Dearborn, where tours let visitors see assembly of F-150 pickups.

"Morning Joe" . . .will originate from inside a manufacturing plant in Detroit on Thursday, Aug. 29. Detroit’s bankruptcy and its revitalized auto industry will be the big stories. Experts on the Motor City will appear throughout the show, and share how they think it can make a comeback.
Joe Scarborough hosts the cable show from 6-9 a.m. with Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist. According to the network promo at right, the half-hour show that precedes it also will be here, hosted by Brian Shactman.
