At 14, singer Sofi K of Bloomfield Hills is getting pretty good exposure.
She appeared Monday morning on WDIV's "Live In the D." Last month, she got coverage by the Detroit Free Press and WXYZ before a Royal Oak release party for her debut album, "LoveHate."
She tells the Freep:
"I get inspired by anything. Literally somebody can be talking to me on the street, and (I'll say), 'Hold on,' get on my phone and write stuff down. I don’t sit down and think about it — the songs write themselves, almost. I’ll get an idea and come home and write the song."
