The Detroit Police were out enforcing a special curfew last night. Minors were required to be inside or accompanied by a parent between the hours of 6 PM - 6 AM or get hauled off to jail.
Fox 2's Andrea Isom was on the scene talking to kids who were busted and their parents. Naturally, Isom was very concerned the young people learned their lesson. Because going to jail, paying a fine, and parental discipline aren't as likely to set the young man (featured at the 2:45 mark) straight as a good lecture from a local tv reporter.
So, thank you Andrea Isom. Thank you for all the good that you do. -- JTW
