'Lost River,' A Tropical Cocktail Lounge, Plans Friday Opening in Detroit

Detroit is about to get a new tiki bar on the east side.

Lost River, a tropical cocktail lounge, plans to open Friday inside the former Memories Jazz & Blues Lounge at 15421 Mack Ave., reports Brenna Houck of Eater Detroit.

Owners Matt Mergener and Karen Green have been hosting previews of the bar with a limited selection of cocktails for the past two months in advance of the official opening, Houck writes.
