Hurled like a "shot put."
That's how WXYZ describes a man's treatment of a baby French bulldog mix in a disturbing scene captured on a neighbor's Ring camera.
Video shows the puppy flying through the air twice after being thrown by a man police say is 21-year-old Terrell Tomer Jr.
Tomer is in custody and the puppy is recovering. An officer interviewed by the station says it sustained a number of injuries, including jaw, spinal and pelvic fractures, as well as broken ribs and a broken leg.
