A local quipster puts RBIs -- Ridicule Batted In -- on Twitter's scoreboard by mocking the president and the Tigers together.

The anonymous humorist goes by @TigersTrump, a handle he or she presciently grabbed back in January 2015. (That's playing a long game well.)

Here's the latest swing:

We'd like an online interview, but the mystery tweeter prefers anonymity.

Whoever is behind the satire shows PhotoShop chops and timely political awareness. Even Trump's "covfefe" typing slip on May 31 provides material.

The feed has nearly 1,500 followers, including more than a few local journalists. (Bill Shea, Amy Andrews, Dustin Walsh, Mike O'Hara and Chris Iott are among them.)

Whether the team wins or loses, trades or fades, @TigersTrump finds openings for near-daily taunts. After all, the main target of mockery lobs a seemingly endless series of slow, sweet softballs just begging for a swing. Mix that with a struggling ballclub and it's a field of dreams.

The pace picks up since last weekend with as many as three posts daily. Examples of hits since early this season:

Hat tip to local sports addict fan Matt Friedman, whose retweets we caught.
