For the fourth consecutive year, the Michigan Association of Broadcasters has named WXYZ-TV the Station of the Year.
WXYZ posted the story on its website. The award ceremony was held in Lansing Wednesday night.
In all, the station won 15 awards including eight Best in Show honors in the following categories: New Media, Newscast, Reporting (Heather Catallo), Commercial, Weathercast (Keenan Smith), News Series (Ross Jones), Feature (Kim Russell), and News Special (Detroit 2020). -- Allan Lengel
