Police are trying to determine the circumstances behind the death of a 23-year-old man in downtown Detroit.

Police responded to a call for a man who had fallen from a window at the corner of Gratiot and Broadway, Jennifer Chambers of The Detroit News reports. 

Emergency responders attempted CPR, but the man was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead just before 7 p.m.

It was unknown whether the victim  jumped, fell or was pushed from a window or parking structure, police say. His name was not immediately released.
