A 33-year-old man has been charged in the highly publicized carjacking/murder of Anthony Tolson, a musician who was killed leaving church in Detroit on Christmas Eve after performing. He was studying to be a minister.
Police charged Charles Cox, 33, with first-degree murder, carjacking, armed robbery, and other charges, Niraj Warikoo of the Detroit Free Press reports.
The Freep reports that police are still looking for another suspect in the case, Darnell Gene-Arthur Young, 18, of Inkster.
Tolson was shot after playing bass guitar for a Christmas Eve church performance at Detroit's Central Baptist Church on the west side, the Freep reports.
