Man Carjacks DTE Truck With GPS and Gets Nabbed

Tyre Grigsby is accused of carjacking a DTE Energy truck  at gunpoint from a power substation in Pontiac Monday at noon.

Charlie Langton of Fox 2 reports that Grigsby, 25, wore a mask, and didn't harm 66-year-old DTE employee who handed over the keys.

Langton reports that he smashed the victim's cell phone and took off, but the trucks have a GPS, and Royal Oak Police were able to arrest him a short time later at 12 Mile Road and Campbell.

Langton reports when Grigsby got out of truck, he was wearing a DTE hard hat.
