The victim stumbled into the restaurant parking lot.
On Woodward Avenue in Highland Park, at 5 a.m. Wednesday, a man was gunned down and murdered, WWJ reports.
WWJ reports that the shooting took took place near Tennyson Street, between the Davison Freeway and Chicago Boulevard.
The station reports that the man was standing with “a number of people” at the bus stop when a car drove by and someone inside opened fire.
The wounded man staggered to the parking lot of a nearby fish restaurant where he collapsed and died, WWJ reports.
No arrests had been made.
