Two Dearborn-area teens learned the tough way that Craigslist deals can be steals, literally.

A 19-year-old from Dearnborn Heights sold his Sony PlayStation 3 console for $240 -- in look-alike money -- at a Tim Hortons on Telegraph Road, the Press & Guide newspaper reports. By the time he realized the scam, the buyer responding to his Craigslist ad was driving off -- though the seller gave cops a plate number, writes Joe Slezak.

Separately, the suburban reporter adds, a 19-year-old Dearborn man told police two men stole his Apple iPhone 5 last Friday afternoon when a Craigslist transaction went sour in a Walmart lot.
