After numerous lawsuits, procedural disputes, and (every so often) something that resembled a political campaign, we are a week away from Detroit's mayoral election between Benny Napoleon and Mike Duggan. The two mean will face-off this evening in the final debate of the general election season. Arguably, it's the only real debate as cozy Carol Cain-hosted candidate forums don't really constitute debates.
The event will be carried live on channel 7 at 7 PM tonight. Chuck Stokes will moderate, while Carolyn Clifford, Lloyd Jackson, Bankole Thompson, and Mary Kramer will ask questions.
