The new restaurant posts this shot at its Facebook page, which already has more than 2,500 fans.
Carnivores rejoice. The Grey Ghost, which the Detroit News describes as "meat-centric," is set to open Thursday at 47 E. Watson, off Woodward Avenue in Detroit.
Melody Baetens writes:
Grey Ghost’s menu features entrees such as New York strip, black forest pork chop with pineapple chimichurri and General Tso’s chicken sausage. The menu is so focused on meat that a vegetable dish list is simple titled “not meat.” Grey Ghost also has cured meats, raw dishes and sides including fries and grilled carrots.
At their Facebook page, owners and co-chefs John Vermiglio and Josef Giacomino post this week:
This restaurant has been a dream of ours for several years. It's hard to put into words how we feel as we prepare to open our doors.
We'd like to thank our family, friends, team, and this fantastic community for the tremendous support.
