Detroit Metro Airport is getting a bigger food selection.

Leonard Fleming of the Detroit News reports that the McNamara terminal is getting 25 new food and beverage concessions that will include the popular Asian restaurant chain, P.F. Chang's.

The new concessions are expected to boost revenues from non-airline sources from $42 million to $63 million, the News reports.

Other eateries will include Chick-fil-A and Andiamos. Plus, there will be offerings from eastern market and bread, coffee and sandwiches from Zingerman’s in Ann Arbor.

The News reports:

With passenger traffic stalling in recent years, the airport — like others around the country — is seeking to upgrade food concessions as contracts expire as a way to fuel revenue. It has also taken bold steps in offering first- or second-in-the-nation shops and restaurants and by introducing “Gate-Hold Experience” of serving passengers at their seats in some areas.
