Have you caught Anthony Bourdain fever yet?

The celeb chef's Detroit episode of "Parts Unknown" airs Sunday and I'm considering buying cable just so I can watch it.

Luckily, Bourdain isn't the only one taking a taste tour of Detroit. Count the Cooking Channel and GQ in on that, too.

New Mandarin Garden in Farmington Hills will be on your television Tuesday night. The Chinese restaurant will be featured on the Cooking Channel show Restaurant Redemption.

One of the main problems at New Mandarin Garden — which the show’s promos called a “failing family restaurant” — was supposedly the bickering of sibling owners Garry and Jerry Che.

“Can the brothers get along long enough to make the restaurant a success? Only time will tell,” the network writes in its description of the episode.

But the story line is largely a made-for-TV exaggeration, the brothers say.

Plus, Ferndale bartender Shane McGrath of The Oakland has made it to the top four in GQ's "Most Imaginative Bartender" series. Catch the videos online.
