Michigan enters a second widescale business shutdown Wednesday to stem the spread of Covid-19.

Key changes announced by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services include:

  • No in-person learning for college students and highschoolers

  • mandated remote-work if the job allows

  • No indoor service at bars and restaurants

  • No group exercise classes

  • The closure of entertainment and activity centers. including casinos, theaters, stadiums and arenas, bowling alleys, ice rinks, indoor water, bingo halls and arcades.

The changes last at least three weeks.
