Mike Duggan is making another announcement.
In recent weeks, he announced that:
- He was appealing a Wayne County Circuit judge's ruling booting him off the ballot as a Detroit mayoral candidate.
- He was quitting the race after the Court of Appeals upheld the lower court's ruling. He also said he had no intention of launching a write-in campaign.
Now, on Friday at 10 a.m., he plans another announcement at his campaign headquarters on Jefferson Avenue: Whether he'll jump back into the race as a write-in candidate.
John Roach, a spokesman, says Duggan is "still doing some due diligence" as he moves "very close" to a decision.
Stay tuned.
