Gas stations continue to be a magnet for serious crime in Detroit.
The latest: Two men were wounded and a third died in a shooting late Wednesday night at the Valero gas station at 7 Mile Road and Pierson Street in northwest Detroit, Rod Maloni of WDIV reports.
Five men were sitting in a black Chevrolet Uplander minivan just after 11 p.m. when two men came up behind the van from a hair salon next door and started shooting in the van, police tell WDIV.
Two 21-year-old men were shot in the back of the head, and one of them died. A third person, 31, is in stable condition.
Police are searching for the suspects.
