MoveOn.org Knocking Bloomfield Hills to Play Up Romney's Privileged Upbringing

Mitt Romney is doing everything to play up his Michigan roots, hoping to capture the state in the presidential race after it went to the Democrats last time around.

But Birmingham Patch reports that the politically liberal group MoveOn.org is looking to bash him about his roots by knocking Bloomfield Hills where he grew up.

The organization plans to release a mini-documentary called "The Man From Bloomfield Hills."

In a trailer posted on YouTube, the film highlights the humble beginnings of Bill Clinton and Bararck Obama.

Then there's Mitt.

A narrator, dripping with heavy sarcasm, talks about Romney's "hard-scrabbled roots" growing up in the rough and tumble Bloomfield Hills, a place described as one of the wealthiest cities in America.
