Murray Feldman

Murray Feldman
Murray Feldman, Detroit’s longest current on-air TV personality, is leaving WJBX/Fox 2 after being a steady presence there for four decades, sources tell Crain's Detroit Business.
Feldman, 64, who always sounds well-informed about subjects he covers, started working at the station in 1976. It’s unclear if his exit is a buyout, early retirement, job elimination or something else, Bill Shea writes.
Rumors have circulated in recent days that Fox 2 plans to cut staff. News director Kevin Roseborough, when contacted by Deadline Detroit, referred the call to Fox in New York. A spokeswoman for Fox said at 11:30 a.m. that she was going into a meeting an would talk after.
Feldman is still on air daily at WWJ 950 AM, where he does “The Feldman Report” consumer business news segment.
His station bio says:
FOX 2 anchor and money man Murray Feldman joined the station in 1976. He has been on the air longer than anyone else in Detroit Television. You can see him every week night anchoring the 5:30 pm news with Sherry Margolis. His popular Job Shop segments appear in all FOX 2 newscasts. His Murray Money Minutes air during FOX 2 News Morning.
Originally from Philadelphia, Murray graduated in 1973 from Emerson College in Boston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. He has interviewed a half dozen Presidents and leaders of some of our biggest corporations.
