For the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, it's music to its ears.

Crain's Detroit Business reports that the symphony has reached a deal with the five-bank syndicate that held $54 million in debt on the Max M. Fisher Music Center.

DSO Treasurer and trustee Arthur Weiss said the agreement “removes substantial liability from our balance sheet and a significant source of financial strain for the DSO.”
