Minister Louis Farrakhan is visiting Detroit this week for the first time in six years, saying he wants to help people pool their resources to buy properties and help rebuild the city, Niraj Warikoo reports in the Free Press.

"The head of the Nation of Islam, which started in Detroit more than 80 years ago, is speaking today to about 200 pastors at New Destiny Christian Fellowship Church in Detroit. "Detroit is “where the Nation of Islam was founded,” Farrakhan, 80, said on a radio show recently about his upcoming Detroit visit. “And so we have a duty to that city.”
