Who couldn't use a 30-foot water slide in their backyard?

Now, here's your opportunity to fulfill that dream.

Katrease Stafford of the Detroit Free Press writes that the city of Westland will be selling a 30-foot water slide, office furniture and equipment this weekend to generate additional revenue and purge itself of unneeded items.

The sale of the items from the Bailey Recreation Center, Economic Development Center and the Police and Fire departments, is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday in the west parking lot of the former City Hall at 36601 Ford Road.
