A coffee shop with live entertainment is coming to downtown Detroit.
Dessert Oasis Coffee Roasters, based in Rochester, plans to open in September in The Albert in Capitol Park at 1214 Griswold, Adrienne Roberts writes at DBusiness.
“We’re dedicated to providing a community experience and a focus on our craft that you don’t get at large coffee chains,” says Nathan Hamood, co-founder of Dessert Oasis Coffee Roasters with his sister, Stephanie Hamood. “We hope to be the first stop in the morning work commute and the evening entertainment destination for many of the people living in or visiting Capitol Park.”
In addition to java, the first-floor shop will serve desserts, light lunches and have nightly live music.
