New Packard Plant Owner Cracking Down on Trespassers

Exploring the abandoned Packard Plant on Detroit's eastside --for whatever the reason -- may be risky business these days.

Steve Neavling of the Motor City Muckaker reports that the new owner, Peru-based developer Fernando Palazuelo, is having parked cars at the plant towed away to keep away trespassers.

“We are working closely with the city and other neighboring property owners to clean up and improve the area, and this should serve as a clear warning that trespassers will no longer be tolerated,” Palazuelo told the Motor City Muckraker.  A.L.
