The man who allegedly attempted to break into Kid Rock's home this summer pleaded no contest to the charges against him and claimed he was so drunk at the time that he doesn't remember the incident.
This isn't defendant Brian Keith's first brush with the law and he could face up to life in prison as a repeat offender, but isn't expected to receive such a harsh sentence.
A habitual offender, Keith faced up to life if convicted. [Judge] Potts, in accepting the plea, said she would consider a sentence of 10-46 months in prison.
His court-appointed attorney, Douglas Oliver, said he also will ask that Keith receive substance-abuse treatment as part of his sentence.
“As a result of intoxicants, he has no independent recollection of his actions that day,” Oliver told the judge.
If that's not a Kid Rock fan, I don't know what it is.
