The human mind can be odd, and downright complex in some cases.

Enter Dylan Alexander Clark, a 17-year-old from Sterling Heights who was arraigned in that city Thursday on felony charges after he allegedly made threatening calls in February to several schools across the country -- including Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut and Arapahoe School in Colorado -- that had been targets of shootings.

WXYZ reports that police in Monroe, Conn., were able to trace the calls to Sterling Heights. 

Dylan faces charges of one count of false report or threat of terrorism and one count of using a computer to commit a crime.  -- Allan Lengel
