How you feeling, Bambi? (File photo)

We see the signs on the side of the road warning about deer, but we seldom see the animals. But those signs are there for a reason.
Oakland County recorded the most vehicle-deer crashes in 2015 in southeast Michigan with 1,873, according to Southeast Michigan Coalition of Governments (SEMOCOG). Rochester Hills had the most in the county with 150.
"For many in our region, hunting season is an exciting time of year,” Kathleen Lomako, Executive Director of SEMCOG said in a statement. “These statistics are a great reminder for each driver to be as alert behind the wheel as a hunter is in a tree stand.”
