An off-duty Detroit Police officer was arrested Saturday in downtown Detroit for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest on the final night of the NFL Draft, Fox 2 reports. The officer has been suspended.

The incident happened about 6:30 p.m. around Jefferson and Griswold, just outside the parameters of the draft event, near the entry point, Fox 2 reports. 

A warrant request has been submitted to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office for a charging decision, the station reports.
