Big questions have surfaced about the newly minted right-to-work laws signed by Gov. Rick Snyder.

Let the fun begin.

The Detroit News reports that Michigan Civil Service Commission Chairman Thomas (Mac) Wardrop has raised questions whether state of Michigan unionized workers fall under the law. 

And Commissioner Robert Swanson said he believed state employees are exempt.

That appeared to be all contrary to what Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette believes. On Thursday, he insisted the new laws apply to state workers, the News reports.

The News reported that the state Senate Democrats issued a statement on Wednesday saying: "Less than 24 hours after Gov. Snyder signed his damaging 'Right to Work' legislation into law, analysis shows that the flawed legislation may not even have the result the governor claimed it would."
