It's hard to imagine living that long. But live Jeralean Talley did for a very very long time.
Fox 2 confirmed with her family that Talley, the World's Oldest Person , died Wednesday night at her Inkster home. She was 116 years old.
Fox 2 reported on its website:
Talley was certified in April as the World's Oldest Person and in March, she celebrated her 116th birthday. She told us in April that she eats what she wanted, loved her family, and credits God, who calls the shots.
She also told Fox 2 once:"The best advice I can give you. If I do not want you to tell a lie about me, I won't tell a lie about you. Treat your fellow man, I don't care what color, treat your fellow man like you would want to be treated. Like you want to be treated, you treat him that way. Treat him like you want to be treated."
