Four current and former students from Detroit's Osborn High School died over the  weekend in a fiery car crash on the city's east side, WDIV reports. A fifth person, a student,  was injured.

Will Jones of WDIV reports that grief counselors were at the school on E. 7 Mile Road on Monday to deal with grieving students.

WDIV reports that the victims were in a Jeep Cherokee that hit a concrete post and caught fire around 1 a.m. Sunday near East 7 Mile Road and Stotter Street.

WDIV reports that authorities said the bodies were burned beyond recognition and that dental records will have to be used to identify the bodies.
