The owners of Berkley's popular Vinsetta Garage on Woodward Avenue and restaurants in Clarkston and Fenton plan to open a Mexican eating spot in downtown Clarkston next month, The Oakland Press reports.

Anne Runkle writes that Honcho will occupy a space on Main Street that was once a gas station and adjoining car dealership.

“Anytime we tackle these old buildings and repurpose them, it’s an adventure,” co-owner Curt Catallo tells the paper.

Honcho will feature homemade corn tortillas and coffee roasted on site.

Besides Vinsetta Garage, the restaurant group also operates Clarkston Union Bar & Kitchen and Union Woodshop in Clarkston and Fenton Fire Hall in Fenton.
