
The North American International Auto Show still has great appeal.
In fact, the Detroit News reports that attendance was the highest in nine years.
Ticket attendance was at 795,416. That figure was last topped in 2003 when 808,833 attended.
"This was a true celebration of the automobile and a demonstration of the strength and resiliency of the auto business," Detroit Auto Show Chairman Jim Seavitt said in a statement, according to the news. "The Detroit show is a true reflection of a strong, vibrant and more confident industry.
